The problem we are having in cities large and small is the problem of gun violence which can turn into mass shootings. We frequently have a shooting whether it is accidental because a child got a hold of a gun, someone was cleaning their gun and was careless, or innocent bystanders are shot. We can prevent some of these problems by educating people who own guns in properly securing them, teaching them how to care and maintain them, and of course, making sure these guns do not get in the wrong hands.
